The Dress is Finished.

I did marathon knitting and finished the Mini Super Dollfie dress while the plumber was fixing our bathtub drain. The pipes were so old and nasty that whenever we took showers we'd end up standing in calf-deep water. Ha. The whole ordeal was noisy as hell (he had to cut out a few pipes) and cost us $585. So. Next time I think of buying a new SD I should just call a repairman to fix one of the myriad problems in our house.

Well, the dress is done. I used Helene's MSD pattern but did a collar of my own devising. It's not perfect but I think I'm getting a little better at picking up stitches. ^___^;;...

Now what am I going to knit?

Thank you! ^_^

This is only my third knitting project, and even though I did a gauge check I was worried about it not being the right size. At first I had to force myself to do the embroidery on the hem, but it turned out to be the most fun part of the construction. ^_^;...

So cute! I've been wanting to try this pattern, and you've done it up so nicely, I'm inspired :-) I love the colours you used, they look great!

Thanks ^___^! I had bought the green yarn because I thought it was pretty, but the pink was left over from Maya's sweater. I've always been fond of the pink/light green combination.

You should try the pattern! It's a nice one, and not too hard.

Very pretty!

The colors look nice and spring-y... definitely a comfort as the weather turns darker and colder. :)

Thanks ^_^!

It's nice to see dolls dressed in spring colors now that everything's all nasty and rainy. This really has been a lousy autumn as far as weather goes! :D
