I knit so slowly.

Kristen has been dutifully making hats to give to our aunt to try to sell at her next craft fair. She crocheted two hats in one day and here I'm still knitting the same scarf I've been working on for months. I have motivational problems! I wish I were more experienced at crocheting because it seems to be faster than knitting but I prefer the feel of knitted scarves. Who knows if I'll be able to make any to sell?

Last night I broke out my sewing machine and made a dress for a doll I'll probably paint next week. I used a My Favorite Doll Book pattern for a sheath dress and shortened it drastically. It still covers the doll's naughty bits with some length to spare but I had to dig up some tights to put on her or risk having her be arrested for indecency. If I could find some huge boots to go with the outfit that would be awesome but I own no such things. Unfortunately, Azone boots only fit Azone dolls and this one has an Obitsu body.

The sewing machine was not my friend last night. Towards the end it started to suck the dress under the needle plate. I tried flipping over the bobbin, flipping over the spool of thread, rewinding the bobbin and changing the needle but in the end I had to sew the back closure by hand. What the hell? It hasn't done that for awhile. Please don't let me fear sewing again, I've come so far! ;_;

I didn't play Avatar Tuner last night but the night before I fought my first Jack Frost! He was so cute but I ate him anyway. Kristen was horrified but I told her I didn't want to waste the meat. Hi-Ho! :D

I would kill for your motivation ;) I think you're a lot more motivated than I am. I'd love to see your new girl in her naughty dress once she's put on her face ;)

I guess that motivation is subjective. ^_____^

I'll be sure to post a picture of my doll once she's ready! I have a rule that I have to paint or repaint a doll every two weeks. Sometimes I lag when the time comes and other times I'm checking my watch, wondering when I can break out my paints again.
