Weekend Bore.

See above title.

I have to do something worthwhile before the weekend's over. Today all I did was walk around the yard, wash dishes and play TOR. I need to get more exercise. =_=

I know I said I was going to back off until I leveled up but when I popped TOR into my PS2 I had to challenge Mt. Sovereign again! And I won! :D

Once I figured out how to hop back onto the ledge after I started to slip off (tough lesson for a gaming moron like me) I didn't have too bad a time. I don't know how I figured out the other puzzles; I just did. XD

When I found out I had to use only Veigue to fight Millhaust I was like "NOOOOO! I've been controlling Mao for the past thirty hours!" Luckily he was easy. Ah, Millhaust, if only you had contributed more to the plot. I'm sure that if the game weren't overloaded with characters he would have died like Leon in TOD.

Then it was on to that crazy lady Zilva! I haven't been checking a FAQ much but I remember that someone said she would be easier if you ate Paella before you fought her and I did. It's too bad Zilva didn't show more of her craziness earlier; she seemed like she was channeling Dilandau and it was the funniest moment in TOR since that time when Misha, that gajuma kid from Minal, went berserk. :D I had swapped Tytree out for Eugene and I satisfyingly beat the crap out of Zilva. She wasn't as hard as Saleh and company because no matter what she did there was only one of her. Kukukuku...funny lady Zilva. Way to die with no dignity! I like the little dance she did in battle, too.

Now all I have to do is fly into the black hole in the sky and finish the game. I'm feeling deja vu from TOD2. The battles with Millhaust and Zilva managed to push me to level 60. I think I'll mess around in the extra dungeon first.

Millhaust was a really underdeveloped character. I mean, I'm not expecting Namco to give us his life story, but he didn't even really have a personality!

Somebody was having a little bit too much fun in the recording studio, as far as a certain crazy lady in concerned.

Yeah, but I liked the part where you had to fight him on the bridge because Millhaust was like "Claire came running to me and I showed her how a real man loves a woman!" Well, not really but if I could hack into the game and change the dialogue...

I love Zilva and her damn riding crop. I can't believe all Eugene needed was to see her playing with the thing like Dr. Barrs tossed around the knife to figure out that she had used Moon Force to possess him.

I just remembered that other awesome scene where Shaorune possesses Mao and tells Veigue that if he doesn't hurry to Belsas he's going to lose the thing that's most important to him. I was expecting Veigue to instinctively look down at his crotch and make sure Mr. Happy was still there. XD

There are a lot of moments in TOR that are funny even though they obviously supposed to be serious. It's part of what makes me love the Tales series! :D

It didn't help that Millhaust sounded kind of worn-out and husky. ^__^;...Wonder what he was doing?

But in the scene leading into the Belsas event it didn't help that Shaorune has such a high-pitched voice because it seemed like a forecast of what would happen to Veigue if he lost his most important thing. "Yeah, that's right, once you lose what's most important to you that deep manly voice of yours is gone! You'll sound like me instead!"
