DEMON.

There she is, my new little girl, Pullip Principessa. I had preordered her ages ago (got the HLJ Early Bird Special!) and she finally came home this week. She creeps me out! ^o^ I admit that goth dolls like these aren't my usual style, but she's a cutie just the same. I had a hard time figuring out how to put her bonnet on, and I snarled a few of her lovely curls. I think she's mad. Will she kill me in my sleep?

What's been going on lately? I painted my doll of the moment, a purple-haired elf that I'm not showing to anyone until I have an outfit for her. Her name is Claudia. You'll see her later.

I've been messing around outside a lot lately and I have the mosquito bites to show for it. Hope I don't get West Nile! ^______^;.....I planted some more sunflowers to make up for the ones the neighborhood cat dug up. I sprinkled the bed with lemon peel and it seems to be keeping the bad cat out. Either that or the garden gnome scared it away! ^o^ I checked on the seeds this morning and a lot of them have sprouted. I am happy. Nice sunflowers this year, I hope!

All right, what else? I finished Ys Eternal Story tonight, at long last.

Heh heh heh...I beat the game at level 60. Was that too high? I lost to the last boss once out of sheer stupidity. All in all, I liked the second half of the game more than the first but Lilia is a hapless little wench, ain't she? I had a hard time disliking her because she was just so...vapid. You knew she wasn't going to get any. I kind of felt sorry for Feena, but I hate Kyoko Hikami and that kept me from liking her too much. Reah (Lair) was cool enough, and Maria was very pretty, but I didn't understand her outfit.

I remember Keith being some gravelly-voiced monster in the OVAs, so I was surprised to hear such a "pretty boy" voice coming out of him in the game. And then at the end after the curse that made him a demon was broken he turned into a pretty boy! Heh heh heh...somehow I knew it all along! He did bear a striking resemblance to Sheena from Suikoden, though...maybe that wasn't good, after all. Still, I liked him enough to make up for the fact that the effeminate Luther Gemma annoyed me to no end.

I enjoyed the game a lot but there were a few bugs. Sometimes the screen started shaking, and a few times I got stuck behind Lilia's mother and had to reset the game. There were more bugs in Book One than Book Two. Hrm.

With the exception of the gorgeous in-game character art, the graphics weren't too great. Apparently the original version looked even crappier? The music was wonderful. Voice acting not so good. The game was very easy. It was fun!

An earwig just crawled across my keyboard. Its butt-pincers were huge! I'm going to cry now!

Now that I'm done with my game, I'm going to let Kristen continue with Star Ocean: Till the End of Time and gawk at Arbel, who bears a striking resemblance to Sydonia from Suikoden. Heh.

Oooh, Principessa is spooky-pretty. She really reminds me of the mean rich girl in old Shojo-manga, with the sausage curls and the ruffly dress. :D

I look forward to seeing your new doll!

Ha ha ha...that's why I like her! ^_^ But I was surprised at how dark her makeup is, because it didn't look that dark in other people's photos. The entire top half of her face looks like it's been spray-painted gray. Artfully. I guess that's gothic ^o^....They did a very nice job on her lips. My favorite Pullip so far is Nero, but Principessa is very pretty!

I was nervous about painting an elf doll after so long because I've always had trouble with the head. It's very much like the Volks B-type head, that NDR elf head.

I hate earwigs. I hear they're harmless, but they're so ugly and vicious-looking! I feel like I'm living through part of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom with these huge bugs in my house.
