More Flowers!

Time for more flower pictures! Actually, I took a lot more than this but I think that five in one entry is probably enough. ^o^ Onward!

I photographed this lantana before, didn't I? Now it's starting to change color from pink to orange to white. I guess that's what it does. What a strange plant!

Our mountain laurel "Nathan Hale," which we planted to replace the shrub the roofers killed, is popping a few more flowers open each day. I wish they'd bloom all at once so I could take a more impressive picture! This is its first spring in the ground, and we're happy that it's doing well. By the way, mountain laurel is the state flower of CT. If you damage it you get fined $200!

I'm not sure what this is. It's sometimes called "spider flower." It reminds me of the apple blossom grass we used to have. Pretty!

Mulberries. We have a few of these trees growing on the edge of our property; we had more before Hurricane Gloria. The birds and squirrels love to eat these in the summer, but I think they're disgusting.

This is a yellow portullaca. (Is that how it's spelled?) I love the way it glows in the light.

Thank you! I love flowers that grow unstructured like that. Nature really does the best flower arrangements.
